Elena Diaz

Elena Diaz is President of Content at A Game Productions. She has spent more than two decades at the intersection of music, talent, and culture, helping shape some of the moments and franchises that defined a generation of television.

A native New Yorker and proud product of New York City public schools, Elena attended LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts before graduating from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. She began her career as an assistant at MTV with a love of music and an instinct for spotting the artists, ideas, and cultural shifts that were about to matter.

As hip hop moved into the mainstream, Elena rose through the ranks at MTV, building relationships with emerging and established talent and helping create some of the network's most memorable moments. Her work included landmark VMA performances and firsts for artists including Jay-Z, Kanye West, Drake, Rihanna, and Nicki Minaj, along with beloved MTV and VH1 franchises including VH1 Hip Hop Honors: All Hail the Queens, Girls Cruise, and Hip Hop Squares.

She went on to hold senior leadership roles across MTV, VH1, ViacomCBS, and Paramount, developing and overseeing original programming while remaining a passionate advocate for diverse voices both in front of and behind the camera.

At A Game, Elena brings a rare combination of creative instinct, deep talent relationships, and an innate understanding of culture to everything we make. She has built a career knowing when an artist, an idea, or a moment has the potential to become something bigger — and helping turn that instinct into stories audiences remember.
